Intellectually Rigorous

African Christian College offers a Bachelor of Theology (BTh) degree to meet its mission of equipping students for excellent service in God’s kingdom throughout Southern and Eastern Africa.

By attending modules during traditional academic breaks, students complete four year degree equivalents in three full years of course work. ACC offers three majors for specialization within the degree programme: ministry, leadership, and counselling.

The Bachelor of Theology degree is 120 credits including a Core Curriculum and 39 credits within a major or two minors.

  • Core Curriculum – All students must take the Core Curriculum
  • Ministry major – Ideal for students desiring to work full-time with a congregation as a minister or leader
  • Counselling major – Geared toward preparing students to become proficient as counsellors in churches, schools, businesses, humanitarian aid programmes, and NGOs
  • Leadership major – Designed for students to become community and church leaders, and for employment in civil service, humanitarian organizations, NGOs, and business.

All our courses integrate faith with learning. Our Contextual Education programme incorporates hands-on learning alongside theory.
