A minor in Counselling is available to students completing requirements for a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology.
In addition to the requirements for the bachelor’s degree, students must earn 18 credits (6 courses; all listed are 3 credits) from the course list below. The courses for the minor in Counselling take place of the ‘elective’ options in the bachelor’s requirements.
Courses numbered in the 100’s are limited to first year students, 200’s are limited to first and second year students, 300’s are limited to second and third year students and 400’s are exclusively for bachelor candidates in their third year. [Course descriptions]

Elective Courses – 9 credits
Students should choose 9 credits (3 courses) from the following course options:

- PSC303 – Social Psychology
- PSC401 – Behaviour Change Psychology
- PSC402 – Developmental Psychology
- PSC403 – Group Counselling
- PSC404 – Psychological Testing
- PSC405 – School Guidance and Counselling
